Copenhagen, October 15, 2019 – Bjørn Thorsen A/S (BT) expands its collaboration with BYK-Gardner, by becoming the official distributor of its line of instruments for color, appearance and physical test equipment, in Sweden & Norway as of October 1, 2019.

Following last year’s successful addition of BYK-Gardner instruments to BT’s distribution portfolio in the Danish and Icelandic markets, the two companies are now strengthening their collaboration in the Scandinavian region. BT is now distributing BYK-Gardner’s instruments in the Swedish and Norwegian markets as well.

“We are happy with the current collaboration with BYK-Gardner and will gladly invest more resources and effort in order to have a successful expansion in Sweden and Norway”, says Peter Tikjøb, Principal Manager for BYK-Gardner at BT.

The products are manufactured and validated according to international standards, guidelines & procedures: DIN EN ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 14001. Testing and measuring instruments from BYK-Gardner can effectively evaluate the quality of color, gloss and appearance, as well as physical properties of paint, plastic and paper products, making them an important part of quality control.
