Bjørn Thorsen A/S product portfolio of medical polymers from Lubrizol Life Sciences (LLS), one of the world’s largest producers of medical grade polymers, has expanded.
LLS has recently extended their compounding capabilities and now offers Pellethane® and Isoplast® TPU compounds with various types of fillers and colors. LLS has also launched a novel, transparent, non-softening, low-tack and highly resilient Tecobax™ TPU material that is completely bio-compatible for medical implant applications with distinct mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and kink resistance. By extending the portfolio of specialty chemicals, Lubrizol and Bjørn Thorsen have now solidified a competitive position and advantage for producing additives and TPU compounds.
