We are pleased to announce that Bjørn Thorsen (BT) has been appointed by Stora Enso as their distributor of DuraSense biocomposites range in France.
The contract was signed at the start of June 2021, making BT responsible for marketing and commercialization of the DuraSense range for injection molding. DuraSense is Stora Enso’s brand for wood-fiber biocomposites. It offers bio-based alternatives to conventional polymers, while keeping the good moldability of polyolefins together with the strength and sustainability of wood, resulting in a global reduced CO2 footprint of up to 80%.

BT has been increasingy present on the French market since 2019, constantly looking at expanding its distribution capabilities by leveraging solution provider services in this country. The inclusion of DuraSense biocomposites product families in the French distribution portfolio of BT represents a strong step towards achieving this objective.
