Bjørn Thorsen A/S (BT) is pleased to announce that, effective September 1, 2021, it now has full ownership of its affiliate Digital Serigraphic Technologies A/S (DST), after the acquisition of the minority share previously owned by Reflex Holding A/S.

We plan to leverage the full capabilities and competency of the BT group, driven by our close relationships with strategic raw material suppliers, to keep expanding our range of differentiated DST offering for a wide range of transfers applications‘, said Svend Rimestad, Chairman of the Board for DST.
Due to this structural change and intention to strengthen DST organization, BT has hired Emmanuel Jurgens as Sales & Marketing Director for DST. Emmanuel brings an extensive experience of well over two decades in paper and textile industries, with a strong track record of growing penetration in transfer printing and medical segments, dealing with leading actors across all world areas. He replaces Michael Russo, who has been promoted as Managing Director for DST. Erik Franke, founder of old DST (Digital Screenprinting Technology ApS), has joined the BT group R&D department to focus on developing new technologies for the new DST.
