Copenhagen, March 1, 2019 – Bjørn Thorsen A/S (BT), Chongqing Techxanadu Industrial Co., Ltd. (TechXanadu) and Wuhan Creworld Technology Co., Ltd (Creworld Tech.) are pleased to announce the creation of their joint venture BT Solutions Zhuhai Co., Ltd (BT Solutions) on February 20, 2019.
BT Solutions, located in the Xiangzhou district of Zhuhai City, China, represents a major step in the global expansion of BT’s market development, operations and commercialization footprint. Capitalizing on its partners’ expertise, capabilities and market access, BT Solutions will provide innovative and tailored responses to the needs of a wide variety of local and international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) by combining creative design solutions and customized specialty polymeric alloys.
One of the most important priorities of the new joint venture will be to focus on meeting Chinese demands for efficient performance enhancement in plastic recycling, leveraging the unique features of the Acti-Tech™ compatibilizer range developed by BT’s affiliate Nordic Grafting Company A/S (NGC).
BT Solutions will also serve as a platform for the commercialization in China of BT’s broad portfolio of specialty raw materials catering to its global customer base. “We are particularly happy about the promising prospects of this new collaboration with two key innovative players in the Chinese market”, said Svend Rimestad, Board Chairman for BT Solutions.
