Vink Chemicals - a supplier to bjorn thorsen

Schülke & Mayr GmbH (Schülke), a Bjørn Thorsen supplier of technical biocides, sold the rights to their products parmetol®, grotamar®, grotanol®, grotan®, as well as other brands for technical application and fuel, oil and gas additives, to Vink Chemicals GmbH & Co.KG (Vink).  As of September 2019, Vink, themselves a large biocide producer, took this opportunity to enlarge their portfolio and venture into the fuel, oil and gas business.  The team of technical biocide and fuel, oil and gas specialists in Product Development, Regulatory and Sales from Schülke joined Vink as well.  They are expected to play an important role in the company’s future growth.

Vink will continue to produce high-qualitive products at the production sites in Kakenstorf and Memmingen, with identical standards and specifications as Schülke before.

The change of ownership does not influence their distribution in the Nordics.  Bjørn Thorsen remains the distributor for these brands in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.  For all related questions on these materials and/or their applications, please contact Peter Tikjøb at pt@bjorn-thorsen.com
