Bjørn Thorsen’s expansion to new office in Milton Keynes, UK and growing UK Team
Bjorn Thorsen Limited – the UK based affiliate of Bjørn Thorsen A/S has cemented its position in the UK market with the relocation to a new office in Milton Keynes, UK to continue the support of the strong customer base with expanded meeting rooms and facilities to accommodate the new resources that have been added to the UK Advanced Polymer Solutions team.
Chris Richmond joined Bjorn Thorsen Limited from July 2023, as Sales Manager, UK & Ireland for the Advanced Polymer Solutions Team, with focus on the elastomer portfolio. Chris brings to the team 20+ years’ experience in sales and marketing of technical products, with extensive knowledge on the automotive supply chain, Tier 1 suppliers and direct OEM contacts, as well as a wealth of experience in industrial applications and processing thermoplastics. He will manage the full Bjorn Thorsen Limited product portfolio in the UK & Ireland, which includes materials from world leading manufacturers like, Lubrizol, Celanese, Stora Enso, INEOS Styrolution as well as Bjørn Thorsen A/S own affiliates, Customized Compound Solutions (CCS) and Nordic Grafting Company (NGC).
Working for Chris to further strengthen the position of Santoprene® TPV from Celanese in UK & Ireland and the CCS portfolio of bespoke TPV/TPE compounds and sustainable products, Rob Chidlow has also joined Bjorn Thorsen Limited team. Rob brings with him nearly 40 years of technical, commercial & design experience across several market areas, such as Automotive, Industrial, Electrical and Sustainability and for the last 23 years has been Strategic Account Manager with ExxonMobil in the Santoprene TPV business and for the last 18 months with Celanese during the acquisition of the Santoprene TPV Business.

This being scheduled from 26-28 September 2023 at NEC Birmingham, in the UK.
